What happens during service
The Classic Manicure is a focused 30 MINUTES appointment that begins with an aromatherapy spray for the hands that has anti-bacterial properties. Nails are trimmed and filed to your desired shape, and a cuticle remover is applied to soften excess skin before trimming or pushing. Each step is done to create a clean, even nail surface ready for polish.
After shaping and cuticle preparation, a brief but thorough hand and forearm massage uses a warm shea butter cream to hydrate the skin. This step restores moisture—particularly useful in Columbia's seasonal climate—while leaving the nails prepared for the final polish application and a neat, finished look.
Products and polish choices
We use warm shea butter cream for the massage and apply Zoya polish shades that are toxin free and vegan friendly. Choosing Zoya gives a range of colors without introducing polishes that the salon does not offer. Clients select their preferred shade at the appointment so the service reflects personal style within the Classic Manicure format.
The aromatherapy spray used at the start has anti-bacterial properties to help surface cleanliness during the service. That, combined with the hydrating cream, addresses common seasonal needs—Columbia’s humid summers and cool seasons can both influence skin and nail dryness—so the products aim to leave hands feeling moisturized and nails polished.
Timing and appointment notes
This Classic Manicure is priced at $35 and scheduled for 30 MINUTES. The compact length suits clients who want a tidy, hydrating manicure without extended add-ons. If you’re fitting a visit into an after-work window or a weekend plan near Merriweather Post Pavilion or Lake Kittamaqundi, the salon’s location in Oakland Mills village and easy access from US 29 make short appointments convenient.
If you currently have gel polish, gel removal is available for an additional $20.00—please indicate during booking or at check-in so more time can be reserved. We serve clients across Columbia and nearby communities such as Ellicott City, Elkridge, Jessup, Savage, and Fulton, and scheduling notes help us plan appointments efficiently.
