Clean skin free of lotions and heavy oils is best; arrive with hair about 1/4 inch long. Exfoliate gently 48 hours before and avoid sun exposure, tanning, or retinoids prior. Communicate sensitivities so your technician can adjust products and technique.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on first treatments or sensitive areas. Our technicians use warm wax, calming techniques and quick removal to minimize pain. Numbing creams can be discussed; regular waxing typically becomes less painful as hair thins and regrowth changes.
Ideally hair is about 1/4 inch (approximately 7mm) so the wax can grip properly. Too short hair won't remove cleanly and too long hair causes more discomfort. If needed, we can trim longer hair before waxing for better results.
Maintenance varies by area and individual growth but typically every 4–6 weeks for face and underarms, and 4–8 weeks for legs and bikini areas. We’ll recommend a personalized schedule to maintain smoothness and reduce discomfort over time.
Yes. We offer specialized waxing for men’s chest and back using stronger waxes and tailored techniques. Our technicians are experienced with denser hair and will ensure comfort, proper aftercare, and private, respectful treatment throughout the service.
Avoid hot baths, intense exercise, saunas and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, avoid exfoliation for two days, and apply calming lotions with aloe or calendula. For ingrown hairs, follow our recommended exfoliation schedule after 48 hours.
