Clean skin is best—avoid heavy creams, oils, or makeup before arrival. If you use retinoids or exfoliants, pause them 3–5 days prior. Allow hair to grow to roughly 1/4 inch so the wax can properly grip for effective removal.
Some redness or mild sensitivity is normal for a few hours after waxing. We calm skin with soothing serums and cool compresses. If you have acne-prone or reactive skin, inform your esthetician so we can patch test and use gentler techniques.
Most clients enjoy hair-free results for three to six weeks depending on individual growth cycles. With consistent waxing, regrowth often appears finer. Schedule maintenance every four to six weeks for steady smoothness and reduced bulk over time.
