Underarm Waxing (Both)

Q: How long does the underarm waxing last?

Typically, underarm waxing results can last from three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles.

Q: Does waxing the underarms hurt?

While pain tolerance varies, most clients report discomfort that quickly fades after the waxing process is completed.

Q: Can I shave between waxing sessions?

It's best to avoid shaving between sessions to maintain the best results; waxing works best on hair that's allowed to grow.

Q: How should I prepare for my waxing appointment?

Ensure your underarm hair is at least a quarter-inch long and avoid applying deodorants or lotions before your appointment.

Q: Is waxing suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, we use gentle waxes designed for sensitive skin, but it’s always best to discuss your skin type with our professionals.

Q: What should I do after waxing?

Post-waxing care includes avoiding sun exposure and hot showers for 24 hours to minimize irritation and promote healing.

If you shave your underarms daily and still see shadow by the evening, waxing is the fix. Hair is lifted from the root across both underarms, so the area stays genuinely clear for weeks rather than hours, and the darkness that shaving leaves under the surface fades as the hair grows back finer. It is one of the quickest services on the waxing menu and one of the easiest to keep up with. Many clients add it onto a leg or bikini appointment.

Over the years I have frequented The Face Place for massages, body treatments, pedicures and facials. It feels peaceful from the moment you walk in and somehow from the aroma to the music to the staff everything seems to slow all the way down here for me which is exactly what you want when you are due for some pampering. Every massage and facial has been consistently amazing and I have felt refreshed and like someone pushed the reset button. There is a reason I keep coming back.
